Day 32: I'm a month (and a day) old!

Hi!

Dad says to say sorry that he hasn't been able to help me write my posts much lately. He says, "It was either that or get the Christmas cards out on time, so..."

Anyway, here are some updates.

I went to my first Christmas party!

 

 

Gran and Grandpa came to visit!

 

 

 

And then went to visit them! Here I am in the car...

 

 

And here I am in their house. Dad says not to be fooled by how much I appear to sleep. That's just when it's easiest to take pictures of me.

So now I'm at my mom's family's house for Christmas. Dad says there'll be lots of pictures of that eventually. For now, here's me and my uncle Tim!

Day 23: I got mail!

Hi! I'm three weeks old now! Wow!

And I got mail for the first time! I'm a real person!

I've spent a lot of time with that opening-my-eyes thing this week, which is neat, especially now that all that tear duct gunk is out. That was grossssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Anyways, check me and my open eyes!

Didja see my owl hat? I love my owl hat. My owl hat is awesome.

So also this week Mom and Dad took pictures for the Christmas card. Here are some of the more hilarious outtakes:

Day 17: I'm two weeks old! (And some other stuff)

I turned two weeks old on Saturday! Mom and Dad went to Lowell to decorate Gran and Grampa's tree and their friends Mike and Victoria came to visit us!

 

 Mike was nervous about holding me, but he was fine. Levi made sure he did it right!

Oh, yeah, speaking of Levi, we've been spending a lot of time together. He's my pal.

 

Then my cousins came to visit, too!

 

 When we got home, Mom and Dad took me to my first trip to the grocery store, which was pretty cool, since I basically napped the whole time.

 

 

Oh yeah, and my cousins and aunt and uncle got me a bunch of cool new stuff, including this bear that used to be theirs! They're so nice to me.

Day 12

I've been getting more practice at car rides and going for walks outside with the dog! So that's been fun.

But last weekend Mom and Dad's friends Jake and Amanda came by to say hi on their way back home from visiting Jake's family for something called Thankshannukah.

 

I went out with Mom, Dad, Grampy, Yiayia, and Little Yiayia (that's my great-grandmother) to buy a tree! For our house! We have a tree in our house! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrd!

Day 8: I'm a Week Old!!

It's been a long week. There was Thanksgiving:

I got to sleep next to all the food.

Which was pretty exhausting so I had to take a nap on Mom with Levi.

But, OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, the BIG news:

 

I started OPENING MY EYES! OH MY GOD LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF THERE IS WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY TELL ME ABOUT ALL THIS STUFF??!?!?!?!?!?!!?

Mind. Blown.

I have a hard time focusing still, so Dad likes to stare at me so that I have something to focus on. It helps. We played that game last night.


 

Oh, and my Grampy came to visit me! 

Anyway, today we're going out to get my fist Christmas tree!!!! I'm not even sure what that is, but it sounds neat, and I get to wear my Santa PJs that Gran and Grampa got me.

Day 3: I'm Home!! :)

I came home from the hospital today! It was like negative a millions degrees out, so mom had to dress me up like a polar bear.

 

So I discovered a new activity today: getting dressed!

I don't like it. Boooooooooooo, getting dressed!

Anyway, here I am getting in to the car

I got home and met my puppy! His name is Levi, and, possibly because he got to eat pieces of McDonald's Egg and Sausage McMuffin® and hamburger whenever he sniffed me and/or my clothes, he basically decided we'd be inseparable forever and ever and ever and ever.

Dad and Yiayia are going out to see "Day of the Doctor" in 3D at the movie theater tonight, so I'll be hanging out with mom and Little Yiayia (that's what I call my great-grandma) and Levi on the couch tonight.

It's nice here.

Oooh, I almost forgot! The other night I had to have blood tests (blech), but I was SOOOOOO good and well-behaved that the nurses made me a special hat. Special hats are on my "yay!" list. But not getting dressed. Getting dressed is still terrible.
