Here's a funny story. Way back in April the doctor decided my due date would be November 22. Sometime along the way someone wrote November 23 in my charts, and so there was some confusion as to when I was to be born.
So as to ease that confusion, I decided to split the difference and start my entry into the human world just after 11 PM on the 22nd. I was born on the 23rd at 9:56 in the morning (after what seemed like an usual amount of yelling and gross sounds)*. Here's basically what I looked like at that point:
The outside world is much bigger and brighter than what I'm used to, so I still haven't really opened my eyes yet, but Mom and Dad have both seen them a little, and they're blue. For now.
Speaking of Mom and Dad, here's a picture of them with my YiaYia, who drove down to see me be born.
The rest of the day is kind of a blur. It's all been pretty exhausting for me so far, and I haven't really been able to do to much stuff yet (did I mention I haven't gotten around to learning how to open my eyes and see stuff? People maybe don't realize how limited your options are when you can't see anything. Or walk. Or move around independently at all, for that matter. Ooh, but I did pass my hearing test, though! So there's that.)
Basically I've been trying to nail down napping, eating, pooping, and sleeping, so really all I have right now is a bunch of pictures of that. Mostly of napping. So here they are!

And here are a couple of me snuggling with Mom and Dad (which, so far, is the awesomest and most exciting thing I've ever done in my life).
Bye!! - Teddie
*Editor's Note: Childbirth, as it turns out, is great deal less like it appears on television and the majority of movies, as sort of a minimally uncomfortable series of groans and pangs and the doctor yelling "PUSH" once or twice, followed by the swift emergence of a nice, clean, pink little bundle of adorableness, and a great deal more like that one scene from "Prometheus".

Hey Teddie! You're incredible at typing considering you can't even open your eyes yet! You're destined for greatness, I'm sure. Keep up the blogging!
